Matt's style of ministry focuses on the word of faith, something he received under Kenneth Hagin ministries along with a teaching style that is culturally relevant, something he has learned serving under Jeff and Beth Jones, senior pastors of Valley Family Church.
Matt is a motivator. He believes the Word challenges us to live a life of victory and influence for Jesus. He will motivate and empower your youth leaders, youth group or volunteers.
Matt is a graduate of RHEMA Bible Training College in Tulsa Oklahoma. He is licensed and ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Cornerstone University and his M.B.A. from Liberty University. He served as an associate pastor on staff at Valley Family Church, one of the top 100 fastest growing churches in America for six years. He also served as an Associate Pastor, the Student Ministry Pastor, Creative Arts Director, Video Production Director, and Small Groups Pastor while at VFC. He served as the Student Ministry Pastor for almost five years where he successfully pastored almost 650 high school and middle school students.
His experience also includes six years as a manager with Best Buy, the leading consumer electronics retailer in the world. While at Best Buy he helped grand open three new stores in three different markets in southwest and northern Michigan. Matt is currently focusing his efforts on growing McCarty Ministries while earning a living as an employee with the Department of Defense where he has earned a new respect for those who serve in the United States Armed Forces. He has a heart for not only teaching young people about Christ but also about freedom and honoring America's veterans. Mia’s style of ministry and worship is also culturally relevant and is similar to churches such as Elevation, Bethel (Jesus Culture), and Hillsong Church.
Mia is a worshipper. Her excitement and passion for worship is what motivates her to lead and teach others about worship and what the Word has to say about it.
Mia is a graduate of EPIC Commission Discipleship Program and the EPIC School of Ministry at Valley Family Church (VFC), in Kalamazoo Michigan. She has served as a volunteer on the Worship Team at VFC for over eight years, under Lead Pastors Jeff and Beth Jones.
Her experience also includes over a decade as a Piano Teacher, helping various middle school and high school students learn the basics and intermediate levels of piano and keyboard skills. For more information on her online piano studio click here.
